Music Mondays – King of Kings – Travis Cottrell feat. Lily Cottrell

I am really loving this arrangement of Hillsong Worship’s King of Kings (available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29) sung by Travis and Lily Cottrell and the Englewood Baptist choir. The father-daughter duo and Englewood choir continue to crush it again and again.

If you haven’t heard their What a Beautiful Name/Agnus Dei arrangement, go ahead and give it a listen also. It’s outstanding.

When I led chapel services for Soldiers in Poland, I enjoyed opening up a service one Sunday with this stunning lyric video of the arrangement. If I had my way, every worship service would open with a song of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for us.

“Let us enter his presence with thanksgiving; let us shout triumphantly to him in song.” Psalm 95:2 CSB

The lyrics to the song are solidly biblical. It’s just a beautiful, God-glorifying musical masterpiece. What a great way to start your Monday–by offering worship to the King of Kings.
